After five years in New York, I headed out to Los Angeles to focus on film and television, studying comedy with the improvisation troupe The Groundlings and guest starring on such shows as LA Law, Beverly Hills 90210, Knot's Landing, Life Goes On, Amen, Hunter, Get A Life, Adam-12, Highway to Heaven, The Law & Harry McGraw, The Nutt House and Guys Next Door as well as making frequent soap opera appearances. Some of the regional and national commercials I booked were for Toyota, Blue Cross and Visa. In addition, I acted in industrial videos for companies that included Xerox and Paxil. In the New Line Cinema feature Book of Love, I played a 1940's film actress.
In the mid-90's I decided to take a step away from acting and focus on a long time interest, casting. My first assistant casting project was with Ronnie Yeskel on the Sony Pictures film Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead, starring Andy Garcia. Soon after I returned to New York City to continue work as an independent casting director in film, advertising and theatre.
